BodyWork Etc BWE10 - Massage, Facials, Skin Care

What do you get for $10 per month?

·        $20 off one 60-minute or longer session*

·        $20 off any additional 60-minute or longer sessions

·        $15 off a 60-minute or longer Gift Certificate purchase(s)**

The BWE10 Membership is a perfect option for those who realize that therapeutic massage is a vital part of body maintenance and appreciate a discount but not the auto debit of $50 to $70 (or more) per month hitting their bank account/credit card.

Do the math. Other Place memberships charge $59 or $69 per month regardless if you redeem your massage. If you miss a session, you just spent $59/$69 for nothing. Only 4 missed sessions over the course of Other Place’s two-year legally binding contract brings the total amount spent on “nothing” to $236/$276 compared to $40 here at BodyWork Etc. (no long term contracts at BWE**)

The BWE10 is also ideal for those who are very active and constantly pushing their bodies that extra mile and require more than a single massage per month. If you receive 2 massages per month, you SAVE $3o. Go for the gusto and receive one massage per week and SAVE $70…that is like a monthly free massage!

No matter how you look at it, BodyWork Etc’s BWE10 monthly membership is just better. Ask any one of the fully licensed, independent therapists at BodyWork Etc.

*Services at BWE are the actual times stated (one hour massage equals 60 minutes of massaging).
Unlike Other Place’s fine print that state session times “...includes massage or facial and time for consultation and dressing”…and time spent drinking water, and using the bathroom, and so on. This translates to, at most, you receiving 50 minutes of actual massaging for your ‘one hour’ session at the Other Place. Six massages there, and that equals one hour worth of massaging you got cheated. Please compare apples to apples and not apples to dried fruit.

**THE DETAILS: 3 month minimum (that's a whole $30 worth); One person per membership; non-transferrable; no carry over; additional discounted sessions must be booked and used within active membership month; no other specials, cards, discounts or deals are applicable; discounts apply to regularly priced services; 4 gift certificate purchases allowed, within active membership month, at membership price after 3 month minimum is met.

This relaxing, flowing manipulation of soft tissue relieves stress and provides a period of pampering bliss. This light to medium pressure massage increases circulation, lymphatic flow and overall well being.
Deep Tissue Massage
While still relaxing, this massage is designed to relieve muscles that are in spasm or bound down, resulting in reduced pain and a more relaxed, comfortable state. It is a full body treatment, focusing on specific areas of discomfort. Any of the basic and advanced massage techniques may be used as the client and muscles require. These may include medium to deep pressure, compression, friction, trigger point therapy, directed energy and heat therapy.
Integrative Massage
Different styles of bodywork are blended to achieve more complete results on different areas of the body or provide more benefit to a specific area. This massage is designed specifically for your needs.
Sports Massage
Massage, stretching and heat-therapy techniques designed to improve performance, relieve discomfort and promote healing of overused muscles. Specific muscles and tendon groups are targeted for treatment. Ideal for athletes, pre-and post event to optimize performance and speed recovery.
Couples Massage
In this treatment, two people are massaged in the same room, at the same time, by two different therapists. It can be a husband and wife, girlfriend and boyfriend, moms and daughters or even best friends. Choose between Unwinding/Swedish or Deep Tissue/Integrative.

Thai Session
Believed to have originated thousands of years ago in the Vajrayana Yogic medicine of Tibet, it has been referred to as the “lazy man’s yoga”. This style acts as an external stimulant to produce internal results by applying firm but gentle pressure along energy lines and firm but gentle torque to the musculoskeletal system. This combo creates energy as well as releasing blockages and allowing relaxation. It is performed on a supportive cushioned floor mat and, except for the feet, the client stays fully clothed in loose fitting, comfortable clothes. Try it, you’ll love it.
Reflexology Therapy
Considered a Healing Therapy in China for thousands of years, reflexology has been known to have direct effects on the body by manipulating reflex points and zones on the feet, hands and ears that correspond to parts of the body such as the joints, internal organs and glands. Experience this modality for a deep sense of renewal and well being.
Manual Lymph Drainage
This light and soothing massage is ideal for eliminating excess fluids and toxins from your body, restoring function of your immune system and organs.
Lomi Lomi Massage
Lomi lomi is a Hawaiian massage, also known as the "loving hands" massage. This integrative massage works gently yet deeply into the muscles with continuous, flowing strokes, allowing the recipient to relax and give in to the nurturing touch. Repetitive movements help to relax the body, while allowing tension to rise to the surface for a deeper tissue release.
CranioSacral Therapy
Relax and find relief from physical discomforts including headaches, migraines, neck pain, TMJ, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and more. This treatment balances the subtle yet powerful internal movements of breath, fluid and cellular activity through their relationship to the important craniosacral system - the membranes and fluid of the brain and spinal cord.
Hot Stone Therapy

Heated stones are strategically placed on the body and also used in the massage. The combination of medium to deep pressure strokes and heat of the stones results in an extremely relaxing massage.
Prenatal Massage
A relaxing massage targeting the special needs during pregnancy, such as low back pain, sciatica, swelling of hands and feet and insomnia. Ideally suited to prepare mother-to-be and her baby for an easier birth process and transition by creating a truly relaxing, nurturing experience.
Baby/Infant Massage
Introduce your little one to the Healing Power of Touch, optimizing Health and Growth. This treatment is excellent for both hypersensitive and hyperactive tots. Includes instruction for parent.
